A delegation led by Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu visited the International Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation. President of the Foundation Gunay Afandiyeva informed about the activities of the organization, its work to protect the material and spiritual heritage of the Turkic world. Minister M. Çavuşoğlu stressed the invaluable role of the Foundation in the preservatopm of Turkic culture and its transmission to future generations, and therefore expressed his support for the organization in the present and the future. At the meeting, Gunay Afandiyeva congratulated Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu on his accession to the UNESCO Executive Board of the Republic of Turkey and stated that this event was important not only for Turkey but for the Turkic world in general. Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu thanked the International Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation for its support in gaining membership in the UNESCO Executive Board.
